The training from day to day
Day 1 & 2: The Power of Hypnosis from the Heart
In this first block, you’ll delve into the basics of hypnotherapy. You’ll learn how to use hypnotic language patterns to influence the subconscious in a natural, fluid way, without relying on scripts.
We’ll cover essential principles and laws of nature, and you’ll learn to recognize trance signals in your client. You’ll also be introduced to powerful NLP techniques that deepen your hypnotic impact.
After each demonstration you will practice in pairs so that you immediately get the hang of everything.
During this module, you’ll learn the Hypnotic Blitz technique —a direct method you can use in virtually any session. You’ll also discover the Non-Awareness Set and work with the beloved Dynamic Mental Imagery (DMI) , which uses symbolic language to initiate profound healing.
And perhaps the best part: hypnosis is also used on you. This way, you learn not only consciously but also unconsciously. You’ll be trained at every level.
Day 3 & 4: Regression, Healing and Deep Transformation
In this second block, we delve deeper into therapeutic work. Regression techniques are central: powerful methods that teach you to work with memory, reliving, and deep trance. All natural phenomena that arise from the unconscious mind.
You will learn how to use these trance forms with confidence and precision as a hypnotherapist to get to the core of a problem.
We’ll cover topics including the Revivification Technique , Days of Wonder , and advanced regression with Gestalt . These techniques are designed to transform complaints at the deepest level—at the root.
And the results often go beyond just symptom relief. Many clients experience greater inner peace, gratitude, gentleness, renewed energy, focus, and a fresh perspective on life after sessions. Old patterns fade away, making room for growth and happiness.

Day 5 & 6: From strong sessions to a strong practice
In this third block, you’ll learn how to make your sessions even more powerful and effective with techniques like Mind Bending Language and Reintegration . You’ll discover how, under hypnosis, you can create new perspectives in your client’s mind, activating new connections and lasting change.
The Reintegration technique is particularly powerful for a wide range of issues. Even when a client just wants to clear out those last remnants, this method offers depth, insight, and definitive healing.
With all the techniques, language patterns, inductions, and laws of nature in your toolbox, your sessions will be rock solid. But we don’t stop there. You’ll also receive practical tools and guidance to build and grow your own practice from the ground up.
We’ll cover topics like the intake interview, your positioning as a hypnotherapist, and how to ensure a consistent flow of clients. Your entrepreneurial mindset will also be addressed—because your impact starts with you.
On the final day, you’ll conclude the training with a practical assignment: you’ll perform one of the techniques in pairs. Afterward, in a festive atmosphere, you’ll receive your IAPCH Level 1 certificate . A special moment to celebrate everything you’ve learned and who you’ve become. Cheers!

Who is this course intended for?

The training takes place in the stylish 4-star hotel ‘t Paviljoen, nestled in the wooded Grebbeberg in Rhenen. A peaceful and inspiring environment where you’ll have ample opportunity to delve deeper into hypnosis and yourself. Unable to make it to the training location? You can also participate online via a livestream and follow all the demonstrations, exercises, and lessons.
Small groups
We deliberately work with small groups of no more than 14 participants. This allows for ample opportunity for personal attention, guidance, and your questions. Your development is our priority, in a safe, familiar setting where you can be yourself.

CAT & health insurance reimbursement
The Level 1 hypnotherapy professional training program is accredited by the Collective Alternative Therapists (CAT). This means that after completing the program, you can become a certified CAT therapist. If you have a Basic Medical Knowledge (MBK) diploma, you can offer sessions that are (partially) reimbursed by health insurers.
Qualification and certification
On the final day of the course, you’ll conclude with a practical assignment: you’ll conduct a session with a fellow student in a safe setting (in pairs or threes, not in front of an audience). Upon successful completion, you’ll receive the official certificate from the International Association of Professional Conversational Hypnotists (IAPCH)—your international recognition as a professional hypnotherapist.
Graduation

Contact hours and study load: The program consists of 12 half-days of 3 hours each. This amounts to a total of 6 days spread over approximately 3 months. The study load in addition to the lectures is approximately 30 hours, including a series of online practice evenings of up to 2 hours each and optional literature study. This amounts to an average of approximately 3 hours of (optional) study load per week.
Who is this course intended for? For anyone who has ambitions to work as a coach or (hypno)therapist, as well as anyone who wishes to develop themselves personally. This training is also suitable for therapists trained elsewhere who are looking to deepen their existing techniques.
Level of education: The course has a higher professional education working and thinking level.
Entry level: No prior knowledge or training required.
Objectives:
a) At the end of this training, you will be prepared to serve clients with conversational hypnotherapy in one or more hypnotherapy sessions.
b) You always act in an ethical and safe manner by considering the client’s interests and healing process as leading.
c) You are aware of the various trance signals, possible outcomes of the trance, the interplay between the conscious and subconscious, and know how to deal with abnormal reactions from the client.
d) You have the knowledge and skills to respond to the information provided by the client.
e) You use hypnotic language appropriate to the goals set for the particular session(s), thereby initiating the client’s healing process.
Study materials: At the start of the program, you will receive a manual for your own use. There are no mandatory study materials or required reading. However, recommended reading will be provided throughout the program to supplement and reinforce the material.
Exemptions: There is no exemption policy for the Conversational Hypnotherapy training.
Exam: On the last day of the course, you will be examined by performing one hypnotherapy technique on a fellow student. You will do this in pairs. The examiner will assess whether you possess sufficient attitude, knowledge, and skills to be certified. If the student receives a failing grade, they can retake the exam free of charge at another time.
Continuation: The training is suitable as a basic hypnotherapy training, after which the student can decide to continue with the Ericksonian Hypnotherapy Training IAPCH Level 2 and 3 .
